At Zenevista Solar Shop, we partner with leading manufacturers to provide you with high-quality solar products. All warranties are provided directly by the respective manufacturers, and we adhere strictly to their policies. This Warranty Policy outlines how you can make claims under the manufacturer's warranty and the general terms that apply.

By purchasing from us, you agree to follow the manufacturer's warranty terms for each specific product.

1. Manufacturer's Warranty Coverage

1.1. Each product sold by Zenevista Solar Shop is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, not by Zenevista Solar Shop itself. The coverage, terms, and conditions of the warranty are determined by each manufacturer, and may vary depending on the product and brand.

1.2. Zenevista Solar Shop partners with only reputable and standard manufacturers, and we are committed to facilitating the warranty process for our customers based on each manufacturer's policy.

1.3. The typical warranty periods for our products are as follows, but please refer to your product's documentation for the exact warranty:

  • Solar Panels: 10 to 30 years (manufacturer-specific).
  • Inverters: 2 to 5 years (manufacturer-specific).
  • Solar Batteries: 12 to 24 months (manufacturer-specific).
  • Charge Controllers: 12 months (manufacturer-specific).
  • Other Accessories: Warranty periods vary by product.

1.4. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase as shown on your receipt or order confirmation.

2. Warranty Terms and Coverage

2.1. The warranty only covers defects in materials or workmanship as outlined by each product's manufacturer. Zenevista Solar Shop will help facilitate the repair, replacement, or refund process based on the manufacturer's warranty guidelines.

2.2. Typical coverage may include:

  • Solar panel performance degradation beyond the manufacturer's specified limit.
  • Manufacturing defects in inverters, charge controllers, or batteries.

2.3. Zenevista Solar Shop does not offer any additional warranties beyond what is provided by the manufacturer.

3. What the Manufacturer's Warranty Does Not Cover

3.1. Each manufacturer may have specific exclusions, but generally, the warranty will not cover:

  • Improper installation, misuse, or damage caused by customer error.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications made by third parties.
  • Normal wear and tear or natural performance degradation over time.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the performance of the product.
  • Environmental factors such as power surges, lightning strikes, or other natural disasters.

3.2. Always refer to the manufacturer's warranty documentation for full details of what is excluded from their coverage.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

4.1. To file a warranty claim, you must follow the process set forth by the manufacturer. Zenevista Solar Shop will assist in facilitating the process between you and the manufacturer.

4.2. To initiate a warranty claim:

  • Provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
  • A detailed description of the defect or issue.
  • Any photos or videos that help illustrate the problem.

4.3. Contact our customer support at hello@zenevista.com.ng to begin the process. We will coordinate with the manufacturer to ensure your claim is handled efficiently.

4.4. You may be required to:

  • Ship the defective product to the manufacturer or authorized service center for inspection at your own cost.
  • Follow any additional steps as specified by the manufacturer.

5. Repairs or Replacements

5.1. Once your warranty claim is approved by the manufacturer, they will decide whether to:

  • Repair the product,
  • Replace it with the same or equivalent model, or
  • Offer a refund (if applicable).

5.2. Zenevista Solar Shop will follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding the solution provided. Replacement products may be new or refurbished, depending on the manufacturer's policy.

5.3. The warranty on any replacement product does not reset; the replacement item will carry the remainder of the original product's warranty period.

6. Manufacturer-Specific Warranty Exclusions and Limitations

6.1. Each manufacturer may have their own set of exclusions and limitations. It is the customer's responsibility to review the manufacturer's warranty policy that comes with their product.

6.2. Third-Party Components: If your solar system includes components purchased from other providers, these parts are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty of the products sold by Zenevista Solar Shop.

6.3. Transfer of Warranty: The manufacturer's warranty is typically non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser. Please refer to the specific manufacturer's warranty for details.

7. Warranty Claim Processing Time

7.1. We aim to process warranty claims promptly. The expected timeline for a claim is:

  • Initial Response: Within 3 business days of receiving your claim.
  • Manufacturer's Assessment: Depending on the issue, the manufacturer may take 10 to 20 business days to assess and approve the claim.
  • Repair or Replacement: Repairs or replacements may take an additional 7 to 14 business days, depending on product availability and manufacturer procedures.
