The 11th edition of the Nigeria Energy Exhibition and Conference, set to take place from October 15th to 17th, 2024, at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, has brought together key stakeholders in the power and energy sector. This year’s theme, “Breaking Barriers in the New Energy Era: Clean, Reliable, and Sustainable,” highlights the increasing need for sustainable energy solutions in West Africa.
In a pre-event interview with This Day, Ade Yusuf, Exhibition Director at Informa Markets, underscored the role of this event in addressing the energy access challenges in the region. The conference aims to promote clean energy technologies, foster partnerships between local and international investors, and explore policy reforms that can accelerate the energy transition in Nigeria.
Speaking further on the event, Yusuf said, “This year’s exhibition will focus on renewables and the critical need for policy and investment to push Nigeria and West Africa towards a cleaner energy future. We have key stakeholders, including government officials, investors, and technology providers, to drive impactful discussions.”
In addition to networking opportunities, the Nigeria Energy Exhibition will feature two major conferences – the Leadership Summit and the Technical Seminar – both aimed at showcasing innovations, encouraging investments, and creating partnerships that will help West Africa meet its growing energy demands.
